Question: As one member asked which minority groups should be represented, are there any minority groups that should not be represented in this community?

The at-large membership is open to everyone; I can't think of a reason to exclude any group, minority or otherwise. At-large members are individual members, so the at-large constituency is different from (for example) the DNSO, which is organized as a group of groups.

No. ICANN at large should be open to all groups. Most likely, some groups are currently locked out because they were unaware of the at large registration opportunity. That may mean that other special interest groups, who did register their members, will heavily influence this election. I have explained elsewhere why this might have happened. Hopefully, under-representation of any minority group will be corrected in the next round of elections. I'm committed to getting the word out to everyone. See www.icannvote.com.
