Ethics, Transparency and Accountability are fundamental safeguards that ensure ICANN’s multistakeholder operating model remains healthy and effective. These principles are built into every level of the organization and are part of the five year ICANN Strategic Plan. ICANN is committed to maintaining and improving mechanisms for Ethics, Transparency and Accountability in order to ensure that the outcomes of its decision-making reflect the public interest and maintain accountability to the Internet community. A high-level overview of our approach to Ethics, Transparency and Accountability and how these principles contribute to the healthy functioning of the ICANN multistakeholder model. 2.
