Overview: 

This session will feature an interactive discussion to provide the community with an Internet Governance Update. The Program from 16:30 to 18:15 will encompass two separate sections.

Section one will discuss the current environment and the various discussions on Internet Governance. We will address key developments in the IG field including the prospects for the forthcoming ITU Plenipotentiary (PP-14); the recent Istanbul IGF (and looking forward to next year in Brazil); and the preparations for the 2015 WSIS Review (UNGA High Level Meeting).

Section two will discuss possible sample models for Internet Governance and distributed governance including an update of the NETmundial Initiative.

There will be participation from government, technical, civil society and academic communities.
