Question: How do you think about .tv .to ...url extensions. now .tv extension become a commercial product. Is this correct?

Johannes Chiang - posted on 2000-10-08 10:10:05 I have described my position to this issue that I agree to extend the new gTLD without unnecessary restrictions in addition to the considerations of reliability and stability. Another necessary factor we should consider by selecting new gTLD is whether it will bring ambiguity to the existing DNS or not. We could also consider arranging an Alpha-test time for a new gTLD. So, I can accept the gTLD mentioned in this question while they are not out of aforementioned concepts. Whether a gTLD can successfully find a market niche and become a commercial product depends on many factors, esp. whether it is required by the Internet users.
