Question: Do you feel that you have the time left over after your other responsibilities to truly dedicate yourself to ICANN?

Yes. I have already been involved in ICANN in the past, and am spending substantial time currently as a candidate. I will continue to do so if I am elected.

ICANN would displace many of my other responsibilities. In my judgment, yes.

Yes. BBN has a long history of supporting volunteer contributions to the Internet community and to the networking profession. I had their full support when I was serving simultaneously as chairman of the Internet Architecture Board and chairman of ACM's special interest group on data communication (SIGCOMM), and will have their full support if I am elected to serve as a director of ICANN.

Yes! I am the only candidate who has the luxury of being able to devote full time to my ICANN responsibilities, and that is precisely what I intend to do if elected to the Board. Being the first elected at large representative for North America would be a tremendous responsibility, and I intend to treat it as such. I am beholden to no organization or individuals. I shall be free to do the very best job representing the users of the Internet that I possibly can.
