The North American at-large membership is in a remarkable can't-lose situation; it will have an effective representative on the ICANN board regardless of the outcome of the election. I have preferences among the candidates, and voted accordingly - but they are minor compared to the improvement that seating any of them on the board will bring to ICANN.

All the candidates have something to offer and, being on the inside of this process, I can say that I have been impressed with all of them. But if you look closely, you'll see that there are some real differences among us. I'll resist the temptation to state publicly my preferences.

Each of the other six candidates has strong qualifications. However, I do not intend to disclose the other candidates for whom I voted because the voting process is confidential.
