Overview:

This session is framed under the LAC strategy project #1 in an effort to promote and raise awareness of key subjects related to Internet's unique identifiers, such as IPv6 transition. Led by noted broadcaster Gonzalo Camarrota, this discussion will engage with home Internet users, business leaders and network operators to find out about how IPv6 will enable full Internet access for the 600 million people living in Latin America.

No slides will be used during this discussion. Attendees and remote participants are welcome to follow on Twitter using #hablemosIPv6.

Agenda Details:

Gonzalo Cammarota will lead a discussion with León Felipe Sánchez Ambía (Mexico) (LACRALO), Federico Ghiglione (BT, Argentina), Jorge Villa (Telecommunications Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Cuba, and ASO AC) and Carlos Martínez (Uruguay) (LACNIC) to discover why IPv6 deployment is essential and the hurdles ISPs, domain registries and others need to leap when deploying it.
