Join Competition, Consumer Trust, and Consumer Choice Review Team (CCT-RT) for a community-wide discussion on the findings and recommendations of the CCT-RT Report. ICANN Bylaws call for the CCT-RT to evaluate how the new gTLD Program has promoted competition, consumer trust and consumer choice; the effectiveness of the application and evaluation processes; and the effectiveness of safeguards put in place to mitigate issues involved in the expansion of the domain name space. This review is one of the key inputs to the re-opening of applications for New gTLDs. The aim of this engagement session is to provide an overview of the CCT-RT findings and draft recommendations from its Draft Report.
