Session Details
This session aims to discuss status and consider possible next steps for the GAC in relation to deliberations and implementation efforts seeking to establish a new WHOIS/Registration Data policy framework taking into account relevant Data Protection law. The GAC will be briefed on latest developments and related policy concerns, in connection with:

Ongoing discussions regarding the handling of specific Urgent Request for disclosure of registration data;
Operations and future of the Registration Data Request Service (RDRS), a pilot program launched as proof of concept for a permanent System for Standardized Access/Disclosure (SSAD) per EPDP Phase 2 Policy Recommendations; and
Considerations for advancing future policy work regarding accuracy of registration data.
