Session DetailsIn late 2023, ICANN org established a director role for engagement with the academic sector. This role is similar to those setup for business and civil society. While it is not a separate, dedicated function within ICANN org, it is meant to establish a more cohesive approach to engagement with the academic sector and provide strategic direction for the org in this area.
This session is intended to share with the community how the role is setup, as well as initial thinking on an overall strategic engagement plan for academia. There will be ample time for open community conversation.
