RegisterflyI think there should be more done to help people. Registerfly has to approve any moves. That takes a long while. There are people spending hundreds and thousands of dollars in fees to move them to a differnt registrar. I think Registerfly should pay for the transfers as punishment. It is your intellectual property Yes, and...ICANN should re-work the current rules for registrars, to make RegisterFly-like case impossible in the future. The registrar that neglects its responsibilities should not be allowed to receive a mere slap on its hands. Re: Yes And.....Believe in fate...Why should i have to pay expensive transfer fees because of Registerfly's bungling. See my latest blog. I think we are owed refunds by registerfly because they did not deliver the product we expected and treated us like dirt. |

Very very upset with RegisterFly
Okay, I have been trying to renew 4 business domains (dot coms no less) since the beginning of Feb. Kept getting system errors on RF's side.
Now today I whois them & find some claim jumper has snagged one of them & has been emailing me that I need to pay them $95 USD to have it transferred back to me. Yeah, like I'm about to do that with a domain I owned for a yr or 2 & have every right to.
I have had an open support ticket on this since the beginning of Feb 07 which they have also ignored, now I know why.
I have over 70 domains, of which several of them ENOM is trying to take away from me.
Countless money (just on feb 1,2007 RF took 30something dollars out of my bank acct on 4 failed transfers) has been lost & I do NOT have the available funds to transfer 70+ domains away to another register.
I went through hell & high water back in 2001 when my host/register was proscuted by the US & FL govt for fraud.. now this?
This is insane, I've been a RF member since 2001/02, was happy with them until summer 06 when problems started cropping up.
I dont appreciate this at all .
