Goals : To get the communities views on how to participate more efficiently in ICANN and recommendations to take ahead.

Format : A moderated round table session with oral presentations, an open question and answer in the main Lisbon forum open to all.

Length : the session will be two hours in length, and may run to two and half hours if presentations and question and answer run over.

IANA Staff at ICANN Lisbon

This is a brief note to all that staff from the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) are attending the ICANN meetings in Lisbon, and are very happy to meet with any of IANA's customers to discuss particular requests or questions they may have.

Welcome all to the 28th International ICANN meeting. After traveling 24 hours from Los Angeles to Lisbon, I am happy to be here. Lisbon looks like a nice place. I will post more often as the meeting gets underway.

What it is: This is a roundtable discussion of what ICANN does, why ICANN is important to various stakeholder communities, and what the ICANN community will be doing in Lisbon.

Why it's important: This meeting provides an essential briefing on ICANN basics and an introduction to the key ICANN stakeholder groups and their plans for Lisbon.

Who should attend: All who are interested in the highlights of the meeting, especially first time attendees. This meeting is open to all ICANN meeting participants.
