RIPE DNSSEC training

What it is: The Swedish registy has recently launched a commercial DNS Security
(DNSSEC) service. The Bulgarian registry has DNSSEC operational and expects to release it commercially soon. Representatives from both registries will discuss their experiences and plans.

Why it's important: Registries and registrars who plan to deploy DNSSEC services will benefit
from the presentation and discussion of the deployment experience.

This is a more secure form of the basic domain name system that the Internet runs on. Recent years have seen an explosion in irritating and sometimes criminal behaviour over the Internet because of its huge possibilities nd open architecture. DNSSEC is one way to help make the system more secure and so safe but it adoption remains a complex topic.
