Session DetailsNARALO Round table on: DNS Abuse and AI: Combatting and Enabling Threats.As part of ICANN82 in Seattle, we are organizing a roundtable session that aims to better understand the emerging capabilities of AI in pattern analysis and machine learning to either prevent or promote DNS abuse. We will gather insights from other cybersecurity contexts for how AI technologies can identify, analyze, and potentially mitigate patterns of abuse. We are particularly interested in learning about approaches to detecting anomalies, leveraging machine learning for system protection, and addressing broader abuse issues that can inform DNS-specific challenges. We are also very interested in the impact that this may have on individual end-users of the internet as it relates to user privacy and overall functioning of the DNS.
